Apego y Trastornos Alimentarios: Implicaciones para la Intervención Psicoterapéutica

Resumen

En este artículo, se revisa la relación entre apego y trastornos alimentarios, profundizando en las variables mediadoras investigadas hasta el momento y en las implicaciones de estos resultados para la psicoterapia. Con énfasis en el papel de la relación terapéutica y la metacognición, especialmente en los casos más graves, se plantean propuestas para la adaptación de la terapia y el manejo de dificultades desde la consideración de las diferencias individuales y familiares en el apego.
